She went on to become the best gymnast in the world when she won the all-around at the 2011 World Championships and became undefeated in six major gymnastics competitions in 2011 and 2012. In January 2018, Jordyn came forward as a survivor of Dr. Larry Nassar’s sexual abuse and has since continued to fight to make gymnastics a safe sport again for young girls. Over the past several months, she has met with the U.S. Senate Subcommittee on Consumer Protection, Product Safety, Insurance, and Data Security to help create safeguards to prevent sexual abuse from ever happening again to athletes.
At the 2018 ESPYS, Jordyn and more than 140 other survivors joined hands to be honored with the Arthur Ashe Courage Award. The women stood together in a powerful and solemn closing and received a standing ovation.

ASHLEY FEINSTEIN
GERSTLEY
Founder of The Fiscal Femme, The 30 Day Money Cleanse, and Financial Coach
I was an investment banker, working long hours, making the big bucks but at the end of the day I had nothing saved to show for it. Why? I was spending to make myself happy. C’mon I work so hard, I deserved to splurge on myself, right? Did it work? Nope! I was exhausted, out of shape, and lost touch with my friends and family.
When I was ready to transition to a new job with a lower salary but better lifestyle, I knew that my relationship with money would have to change for it to work. When I got started, I realized that I knew nothing about managing my own finances. I thought… if I know nothing about personal finance with a finance degree and three years of experience working in the financial services industry, then others probably don’t know about this money stuff either. I started writing about my money journey and sharing what I had learned on my blog, the Fiscal Femme and the rest is history.
I’ve since dedicated my life to helping others transform their financial wellness! I am a certified life coach specializing in money and personal finance. I have worked in the financial services industry for over ten years: first as an investment banker, then in corporate finance and most recently running the Fiscal Femme. I graduated with a degree in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
